Kim Kardashian chose the inside of her lower lip for her new tattoo, which is not something she usually does. The design that was picked is an infinity sign that is beautifully drawn in black.
This unique choice of tattoo placement is similar to the lip tattoos that people in Wakanda have in Marvel’s Black Panther. Lip tattoos are a way to show who you are, your status, and the things you’ve accomplished in life in the Wakandan society that the movie shows.

It’s interesting that Kim Kardashian had been very open about how she didn’t want to get tattoos. But she changed her mind after her first show as host of Saturday Night Live in October 2021.
After her win on Saturday Night Live, Kim and some of her friends chose to mark the occasion with matching tattoos. Everyone else chose hands or other places that would stand out, but Kim thought, “Why not the lip?” “My friends and I got matching tattoos,” Kim said on Thursday (9/11)’s show of The Kardashians. “Everyone had them on their hands, but I chose to do mine on my lips.” I believed it would be funny.
